The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.
He invited all his neighbours to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.
A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer's neighbours continued to shovel dirt on top of theanimal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge ofthe well and happily trotted off!
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick togetting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each ofour troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up

Remember the five simple rules to a measure of happiness:

1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.
2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happen.
3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less

NOW --------Be a good Donkey

Best and Worst Brain Foods

If you want to make the right decisions in confusing times—Time to refinance? Explore a different career? Root for the singing spinster or the 12-year-old?—you need to pay special attention to what you eat. That’s right: Your grocery list can help with your to-do list. That’s because the right foods are a kind of clean-burning fuel for your body’s biggest energy hog: Your brain. A study in the Journal of Physiology makes the point that, though your brain represents only 2 percent of your body weight, it makes 20 percent of the energy demands on your resting metabolism.

On our new Eat This, Not That! Web site, we rounded up the best foods to munch on when you need a mental boost—and found studies that show, in fact, that you can be up to 200 percent more productive if you make the right eating choices. Stock up on these items to halt mental decline, jog your memory, sharpen your senses, improve your performance, activate your feel-good hormones, and protect your quick-witted sharpness, whether you’re 15, 40—or not admitting to any age whatsoever!

FOR SHORT-TERM MEMORY

Drink This!: COFFEE

Fresh-brewed joe is the ultimate brain fuel. Caffeine has been shown to retard the aging process and enhance short-term memory performance. In one study, British researchers found that just one cup of coffee helps improve attention and problem-solving skills.

Not That!: ENERGY DRINKS/TOO MUCH COFFEEEver heard of the concept “too much of a good thing”? If you OD on caffeine—too many cups, a jolt of caf from the late afternoon onward, a Red Bull cocktail—it can mess with your shuteye schedule. Sleep is reboot time for your mental computer, and you don’t want to mess with it.

FOR LONG-TERM MEMORY

Eat This!: BLUEBERRIES

Antioxidants in blueberries help protect the brain from free-radical damage and cut your risk of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases. They can also improve cognitive processing (translation: thinking). Wild blueberries, if you can find them, have even more brain-boosting antioxidants than the cultivated variety, so book that vacation in Maine now. The berries will ripen in July.

Not That!: THE UNRIPE AND UNREADY

Here’s a cool tip: if your favorite berries are out of season, buy them frozen. The freezer locks in peak flavor and nutrients, so the berries’ antioxidant capacity is maxed out. Those pale, tough, and expensive off-season berries usually ripen on a truck, rather than on the bush, so they’re nutritional imposters compared to the real thing. For more smart shopping tips, point your grocery cart to THIS story and learn how to pick the most delicious and nutritious while controlling your waistline!

TO THINK FASTER

Eat This!: SALMON OR MACKEREL

If the Internal Revenue Service picks you for some up-close-and-personal auditing, you’ll want to be on your toes when they vet your deductions list. So put salmon or mackerel on the grocery list. The omega-3 fatty acids found in fatty fishes are a primary building block of brain tissue, so they’ll amp up your thinking power. Salmon is also rich in niacin, which can help ward off Alzheimer’s disease and slow the rate of cognitive decline.

Not That!: FULL-FAT ICE CREAM

Not all fats are created equal: Beware foods high in saturated fats, which can clog blood vessels and prevent the flow of nutrients and blood to the brain. Ice cream is not a brain-health food.

TO ENERGIZE:

Eat This!: HIGH-PROTEIN SALAD WITH VINAIGRETTE

The oil in the dressing will help slow down digestion of protein and carbs in the salad, stabilizing blood-sugar levels and keeping energy levels high. Build your salad on a bed of romaine and spinach for an added boost in riboflavin, and add chicken and a hard-boiled egg for more energizing protein. For other tips on how to build the perfect salad, check out the Eat This, Not That! ultimate salad selector.

Not That!: PANCAKES OR BAGELS

MIT researchers analyzed blood samples from a group of people who had eaten either a high-protein or a high-carbohydrate breakfast. Two hours after eating, the carb eaters had tryptophan levels four times higher than those of the people who had eaten protein. The tryptophan in turkey is one of the reasons you crawl off for an afternoon nap after Thanksgiving dinner. So watch what you gobble.

TO CALM DOWN

Eat This!: LOW-FAT YOGURT OR MIXED NUTS

Scientists in Slovakia gave people 3 grams each of two amino acids—lysine and arginine—or a placebo, and asked them to deliver a speech. Blood measurements of stress hormones revealed that the amino acid-fortified guys were half as anxious during and after the speech as those who took the placebo. Yogurt is one of the best food sources of lysine; nuts pack loads of arginine.

Not That!: SODA

A study from the American Journal of Public Health found that people who drink 2½ cans of soda daily are three times more likely to be depressed and anxious, compared with those who drink fewer. So Mountain Dew is a Mental Don’t.

TO CONCENTRATE

Eat This!: PEPPERMINT TEA

The scent of peppermint helps you focus and boosts performance, according to researchers. Need to reach Chicago before nightfall, and you’re stuck in traffic around Cleveland? One study found that peppermint makes drivers more alert and less anxious.

Not That!: CANDY

Sugary foods incite sudden surges of glucose that, in the long term, cause sugar highs and lows, leading to a fuzzy state of mind. So you’ll need to avoid all the attention-busting sugar bombs on this list of the 20 most sugar-packed foods in America.

FOR GOOD MOODS AND GRINS

Eat This! ARUGULA OR SPINACH SALAD

Leafy greens—arugula, chard, spinach—are rich sources of B vitamins, which are key components on the assembly line that manufactures feel-good hormones such as serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine. According to a study published in the Journal of Neuroscience Nursing, a lack of B6 can cause nervousness, irritability, and even depression.

Not That!: WHITE CHOCOLATE

White chocolate isn’t chocolate at all, since it contains no cocoa solids. So it won’t stimulate the euphoria-inducing mood boosters like serotonin, as real chocolate does. Grab the real thing, the darker the better. More cacao means more happy chemicals and less sugar, which will eventually pull you down.

FOR SHARPER SENSES

Eat This!: 1 TBSP OF GROUND FLAXSEED DAILY

Flax is the best source of alphalinoleic, or ALA—a healthy fat that improves the workings of the cerebral cortex, the area of the brain that processes sensory information, including that of pleasure. To meet your quota, sprinkle it on salads or mix it into a smoothie or shake.

Not That!: ALCOHOL

This one’s obvious, but worth mentioning anyway. A drink or two can increase arousal signals, but more than that will actually depress your nervous system. This makes you sloppy, not sharp.

- - - - - - - - - - - - -

Network Marketing: The Future - Holidays and Cash: The Means !

http://holidaysandcash.com/jumoby

NETWORK : a system of interrelated buildings, offices, stations, etc., esp. over a large area or throughout a country, territory, region, etc.Or a complex, interconnected group or system.

MARKETING : the total of activities involved in the transfer of goods from the producer or seller to the consumer or buyer, including advertising, shipping, storing, and selling.
Welcome To Network Marketing Works!
In the past many people have made fortunes in network marketing! Not convinced? A new study published in the British Medical Journal of 20,000 British folks shows that you can cut your risk of having a stroke in half by doing the following four things: being active for 30 minutes a day, eating five daily servings of fruit and vegetables, and avoiding cigarettes and excess alcohol.
While those are some of the obvious steps you can take to age well, researchers have discovered that centenarians tend to share certain traits in how they eat, move about, and deal with stress—the sorts of things we can emulate to improve our own aging process. Of course, getting to age 100 is enormously more likely if your parents did. Still, Thomas Perls, who studies the century-plus set at Boston University School of Medicine, believes that assuming you've sidestepped genes for truly fatal diseases like Huntington's, "there's nothing stopping you from living independently well into your 90s." Heck, if your parents and grandparents were heavy smokers, they might have died prematurely without ever reaching their true potential lifespan, so go ahead and shoot for those triple digits by following these 10 habits.
1. Don't retire. "Evidence shows that in societies where people stop working abruptly, the incidence of obesity and chronic disease skyrockets after retirement," says Luigi Ferrucci, director of the Baltimore Longitudinal Study of Aging. The Chianti region of Italy, which has a high percentage of centenarians, has a different take on leisure time. "After people retire from their jobs, they spend most of the day working on their little farm, cultivating grapes or vegetables," he says. "They're never really inactive." Farming isn't for you? Volunteer as a docent at your local art museum or join the Experience Corps, a program offered in 19 cities that places senior volunteers in urban public elementary schools for about 15 hours a week.
2. Floss every day. That may help keep your arteries healthy. A 2008 New York University study showed that daily flossing reduced the amount of gum-disease-causing bacteria in the mouth. This bacteria is thought to enter the bloodstream and trigger inflammation in the arteries, a major risk factor for heart disease. Other research has shown that those who have high amounts of bacteria in their mouth are more likely to have thickening in their arteries, another sign of heart disease. "I really do think people should floss twice a day to get the biggest life expectancy benefits," stresses Perls.
3. Move around. "Exercise is the only real fountain of youth that exists," says Jay Olshansky, a professor of medicine and aging researcher at the University of Illinois at Chicago. "It's like the oil and lube job for your car. You don't have to do it, but your car will definitely run better." Study after study has documented the benefits of exercise to improve your mood, mental acuity, balance, muscle mass, and bones. "And the benefits kick in immediately after your first workout," Olshansky adds. Don't worry if you're not a gym rat. Those who see the biggest payoffs are the ones who go from doing nothing to simply walking around the neighborhood or local mall for about 30 minutes a day. Building muscle with resistance training is also ideal, but yoga classes can give you similar strength-training effects if you're not into weight lifting.
4. Eat a fiber-rich cereal for breakfast. Getting a serving of whole-grains, especially in the morning, appears to help older folks maintain stable blood sugar levels throughout the day, according to a recent study conducted by Ferrucci and his colleagues. "Those who do this have a lower incidence of diabetes, a known accelerator of aging," he says.
5. Get at least six hours of shut-eye. Instead of skimping on sleep to add more hours to your day, get more to add years to your life. "Sleep is one of the most important functions that our body uses to regulate and heal cells," says Ferrucci. "We've calculated that the minimum amount of sleep that older people need to get those healing REM phases is about six hours." Those who reach the century mark make sleep a top priority.
6. Consume whole foods, not supplements. Strong evidence suggests that people who have high blood levels of certain nutrients—selenium, beta-carotene, vitamins C and E—age much better and have a slower rate of cognitive decline. Unfortunately, there's no evidence that taking pills with these nutrients provides those antiaging benefits. "There are more than 200 different carotenoids and 200 different flavonoids in a single tomato," points out Ferrucci, "and these chemicals can all have complex interactions that foster health beyond the single nutrients we know about like lycopene or vitamin C." Avoid nutrient-lacking white foods (breads, flour, sugar) and go for all those colorful fruits and vegetables and dark whole-grain breads and cereals with their host of hidden nutrients.
7. Be less neurotic. It may work for Woody Allen, who infuses his worries with a healthy dose of humor, but the rest of us neurotics may want to find a new way to deal with stress. "We have a new study coming out that shows that centenarians tend not to internalize things or dwell on their troubles," says Perls. "They are great at rolling with the punches." If this inborn trait is hard to overcome, find better ways to manage when you're stressed: Yoga, exercise, meditation, tai chi, or just deep breathing for a few moments are all good. Ruminating, eating chips in front of the TV, binge drinking? Bad, very bad.
8. Live like a Seventh Day Adventist. Americans who define themselves as Seventh Day Adventists have an average life expectancy of 89, about a decade longer than the average American. One of the basic tenets of the religion is that it's important to cherish the body that's on loan from God, which means no smoking, alcohol abuse, or overindulging in sweets. Followers typically stick to a vegetarian diet based on fruits, vegetables, beans, and nuts, and get plenty of exercise. They're also very focused on family and community.
9. Be a creature of habit. Centenarians tend to live by strict routines, says Olshansky, eating the same kind of diet and doing the same kinds of activities their whole lives. Going to bed and waking up at the same time each day is another good habit to keep your body in the steady equilibrium that can be easily disrupted as you get on in years. "Your physiology becomes frailer when you get older," explains Ferrucci, "and it's harder for your body to bounce back if you, say, miss a few hours of sleep one night or drink too much alcohol." This can weaken immune defenses, leaving you more susceptible to circulating flu viruses or bacterial infections.
10. Stay connected. Having regular social contacts with friends and loved ones is key to avoiding depression, which can lead to premature death, something that's particularly prevalent in elderly widows and widowers. Some psychologists even think that one of the biggest benefits elderly folks get from exercise the strong social interactions that come from walking with a buddy or taking a group exercise class. Having a daily connection with a close friend or family member gives older folks the added benefit of having someone watch their back. "They'll tell you if they think your memory is going or if you seem more withdrawn," says Perls, "and they might push you to see a doctor before you recognize that you need to see one yourself."

... It's in foreclosure and the bank will sell it to me for a great price."
"How good is the price?" I asked.
"Just before the real estate market crashed, the seller was asking $780,000 for the property. Today, I can buy it from the bank for $215,000. What do you think?" she asked.
"How would I know?" I replied. "All you've given me is the price."
"Yes!" she squealed. "Now my husband and I can afford it."
"Only cheap people buy on price," I replied. "Just because something is cheap doesn't mean it's worth the cost."
I then explained to her one of my most basic money principles: I buy value. I will pay more for value. If I don't like the price, I simply pass. If the seller wants to sell, he will come back with a better price. I let him tell me what he will accept. I know some people love to haggle; personally, I don't. If a person wants to sell, they will sell. If I feel what I am buying is of value, I'll pay the price. Value rather than price has made me rich.
Against my advice, my friend sought financing for her "dream" home.
Fortunately, the bank turned her down. The house was on a busy street in a deteriorating neighborhood. The high school four blocks away was one of the most dangerous schools in the city. Her son and daughter would either have to go to private school or take karate lessons. She is now looking for a cheaper house to buy and has asked her father, who is retired, for help with the down payment. If her past is a crystal ball to her future, she will likely always be cheap and poor, even though she is a good, kind, educated, hard-working person.
My Point of View
What follows are some thoughts on why my friend will probably never get ahead financially -- especially in this market।

1। She and her husband have college degrees but zero financial education। Even worse, neither plans to attend any investment classes. Choosing to remain financially uneducated has caused them to miss out on the greatest bull and bear markets in history. As my rich dad often said, "What you don't know keeps you poor."

2. She is too emotional. In the world of money and investing, you must learn to control your emotions. When you think about it, three of our biggest financial decisions in life are made at times of peak emotional excitement: deciding to get married, buying a home, and having kids.
My dad often said, "High emotions, low intelligence।" To be rich, you need to see the good and the bad, the short- and long-term consequences of your decisions. Obviously, this is easier said than done, but it's key to building wealth.

3. She doesn't know the difference between advice from rich people and advice from sales people. Most people get their financial advice from the latter -- people who profit even if you lose. One reason why financial education is so important is because it helps you know the difference between good and bad advice.
As the current crisis demonstrates, our schools teach very little about money management. Millions of people are living in fear because they followed conventional wisdom: Go to school, get a job, work hard, save money, buy a house, get out of debt, and invest for the long term in a well-diversified portfolio of mutual funds. Many people who followed this financial prescription are not sleeping at night. They need a new plan. Had they sought out a little financial education, they might not be entangled in this mess.
A Thank You to Jon Stewart
Speaking of finance experts, I personally want to thank Jon Stewart of 'The Daily Show' for taking on Jim Cramer and CNBC. Jon Stewart did an incredible job of representing the millions of people all over the world who have lost their savings in the market. He was right in saying he thought it "disingenuous" to advise people to invest for the long term through their retirement plans while knowing full well that traders could steal Americans' retirement money by trading in and out of the market. Most traders like Cramer realize that investing in mutual funds for the long term is financial suicide. Cramer should have spoken up, but we all know why CNBC won't let him tell the truth. If he did, the station's advertisers would leave.
While I applaud Cramer for going on 'The Daily Show' and facing the music, I'm afraid he was marginalized by Stewart -- certainly outgunned -- and he has lost his credibility. He may pay an even bigger price if the SEC decides to dig deeper.
Jim Cramer is a very smart man. I watch his show. I just do not follow his advice.
In closing, I will say what I have said for years: We need financial education in our schools. Without it, we cannot tell the good advice from the bad.

ACCA BASIC

How to register
Registration can take place at any time, however if you wish to take part in specific paper-based examination sessions, the following deadlines apply:
For the June examinations
Register by 31 December of the preceding year
For the December examinations
Register by 15 August of the same year

The ACCA Qualification is designed to provide the accounting knowledge, skills and professional values which will deliver finance professionals who are capable of building successful careers across all sectors, whether they are working in the public or private sectors, practising in accounting firms, or pursuing a career in business.
In order to qualify as an ACCA member, you will complete:
14 exams (nine of which are eligible for exemption)
relevant practical experience, with a minimum of three years
a Professional Ethics module.
The ACCA Qualification embeds the global accounting education standards set by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). Warren Buffet (arguably the greatest investor of our time) says: The secret to making money is to be cautious when everyone is greedy and be greedy when everyone is cautious. But a lot of questions are on our minds:
Have the Nigerian stock market reached its bottom? Should I average down by investing at these low prices? Is there a real estate bubble? Will naira depreciate further? What else can I invest in? Will I keep my Job in 2009? Will there be a banking crisis or consolidation? How best can I survive in 2009? This is our attempt to answer all these questions and more.
Many experts on the Nigerian economy agree on the following predictions:
Foreign exchange rate will depreciate further to between N145 to N155 per US$1 by the end of the year 2009; Nigeria’s foreign reserves may have halved by 2009 ending, from about US$52billion in December 2008($63bn in September 08);Prime lending rates would range between 20% and 25% depending on CBN’s willingness to print money and the mode of financing our N1trillion deficit budget; crude oil prices range between $25 to $55 per barrel depending on weather conditions and events in the Middle East; Real Estate Prices would adjust downwards between 10% to 50%(especially in Ikoyi, Lekki and Victoria Island);Nigeria’s cocoa exports would drop significantly.
There would be huge swings in share prices (Upwards and downward) with an average slow trend upwards; Unemployment would rise (especially amongst bankers);Consumer confidence would drop and crime rate would rise and the foreign exchange black market would re-emerge and trade at a Premium of between 5% to 10% above the official exchange rate.

Generally, all you need in 2009 are the 3 C’s: CASH, COURAGE and CALM।

CASH - To survive and take advantages of all the golden opportunities which will arise.

COURAGE - To aggressively implement all the highlighted recommendations/tips and

CALM - To remain steadfast।

Other tips include;
Determine and Monitor your Net Worth: Net worth is what is left after you add all your Assets and subtract all your Liabilities।
Assets include Shares which have been dematerialize into CSCS at current market prices; Real Estate with other title documents; Cash in bank, Gold and any assets with a high probability to appreciate and determine market values.
Please note that items like cars, cloths and furniture are deliberately excluded and are considered dead assest.Liabilities include: Loads, mortgages and anything guaranteed to cause consistent cash out flows in the future. Your aim in 2009 is to measure and increase your assets/net worth consistently on a monthly basis.
Form a Cash Backed Family Reserve: In 2009 we recommend you have a cash backed Family reserve in your savings or fixed deposit account. This can be calculated by estimating your savings or fixed deposit account. This can be calculated by estimating your total family expenditure for 6months assuming you and your spouse lost both Jobs today. If you do not have this reserve, sell what you can and cut all unnecessary expenditure until you can form this reserve.
This amount should be left unused until 2009 ending. Once you have your cash reserve you can stop saving and start investing. Every additional inflow after your cash reserve forms part of your investable funds.
Avoid debt: with astronomical interest you should be very careful before you use any debt in Nigeria.
Live below your means: If you cannot save/invest at least 10% of your income you are living above your means. To live below our means you should save/invest 20% of your monthly income, every other expenditure should be cut off or suspended.
Take a Health insurance and Life Insurance: This eliminates 2 major risks you and your]
Dependants may face.
Invest in Real estate using Investment club: With the proposed decline in real estate, small investments in different real estate ventures, with minimal debt would be preferable to large investments. This form of investment is usually available using an investment Club.

For 2009:
Invest in equities; invest with a 2 year perspective in selected high quality company equities with higher dividend yields and lower P/E ratios compared with their pairs। But gradually, buy what you understand and avoid stocks known to have manipulated prices. In addition you may invest in trusted Mutual Funds.

Investment in private Equity can be very profitable if done via experience managers. We recommend about 20% of your investible funds should be allocated to equities.
Invest in Fixed Income: Invest in commercial papers, Bonds, Guaranteed investments, Treasury bills, and foreign currency can be easily liquidated to take advantage of interesting opportunities. We recommend that about 60% of your investible funds should be in this form.
Like Buffet सीक ONLY “DEALS”: In 2009 a lot of once-in-lifetime deals would emerge however only those who are ready with cash would be able to take advantage quickly। Make it a point not to part with your cash unless it’s a deal of a life time… Don’t be in a hurry to invest। Always walk away if you are unsure। More deals would come subsequently। The opportunity cost of spending your cash is high.
Reconfirm the status of your pension (PFA) contribution: Those little monthly contributions could amount to a future.
Safeguard your assets and yourself: This includes enhancing your immediate security as crime rate is expected to increase. Also insure your House and any major asset.
Do a Will or a Trust: As morbid as it may sound, this would make a world of difference to your dependants, just in case the unfortunate happens.
Form the habits now and continue updating the Will as you increase your net- worth.
Set2 major Financial Goals: i.e. Education for you and your kids and Housing for the family. Invest towards them aggressively.
Remain Motivated and seek opportunity aggressively: This is the time to remain motivated and violently seek opportunity. No gentle man survives the war front.
Do a Budget and stick to it meticulously: To manage your expenditure you need to measure them continuously.
In conclusion aggressively preserve your cash। This would give you more options in 2009।most importantly, be OPTMISTIC not necessarily about the future which you cannot control, but about your ability to make the best out of whatever the future present at you amidst this uncertainty, most of the traditional assumption that determine the industry boundaries/rules would have silently changed. Now more than ever, a Game Changing Idea will work.

Leaders OR Looter’s?

My heart bleeds every morning I wake up to see that Nepotism, Tribalism, Ill-Capitalism etc still runs in the vein of our so called Spokesman in government। My soul swings like the pendulum of public opinion and I wonder as every second counts if this position is really about Servant Leader or the people are the Leaders Servant। And the next question that rings in my head like the city bell is Leader’s or Looter’s?The Head of states step up and speak about Corruption, his vice follows and choose to use Moral Perversion। One after the other, each government official and other parastatal choose to use the word suitable to them such as Perversion of Integrity, Debasement, Susceptibility, Depravity and Putrefaction। From my little corner I screamed Why the Grammar? Because right before us Mama - Nigeria Lies in coma, with our eyes open we watch as the canker worm eat deep into her heart। Yet we are aware that her death is our death। The problem on ground is no vocabulary.Leaders or Looters I ask myself a million times, as they talk the talk and promise to walk the walk in the process of getting the crown but afterwards the story change.Due to our system the previous head of state has just eaten up the cake of all aspiring president from South West until 2047 simply because we are six zones. Its is not our fault some will say, it is our institutional problem. PDP says it must be rotational. Lets ask why rotational the position of leadership? If not rotation to LOOT because if you miss your turn once, then you will be disenfranchise forever because you are waiting for next generation when it will get to you again – What a Barbaric Democracy. What are we passing around? Is the position of leadership meant for mediocre? There must be a Change – we all hear the call for a change. From my little cranny I get busy trying to sort things out and put a Change through. But it still done on me that without Capitalism, Democracy and Socialistic leaning towards upliftment of the poor, No Change will happen, and then what will be the outcome of my effort I asked as I breathe profusively.Nevertheless, I Have a Dream: That we will have Leaders and not Looters in rightful places and that our leaders will accept the position of a Civil Servant.

PLANTING YOUR OWN MONEY TREE!

Its evidence that principles that have enduring success clearly follow the seed principle – Sowing and Reaping. Those who plant maize or bean seeds reap in about four months. They would need to plant these seeds every year to reap though. But those who sow mango seed would need to wait for about five years before reaping. Once reaping starts, its continues for several years.John Osuoha, Chief executive, Bringforth Investments Limited and author of Financial Intelligence for Youths, says “Every one naira is a seed with the capacity to grow into a tree. Like a grain of corn can produce so many other grains of corn, so is money.”

WASTAGES
Osuoha cautions against wastage, saying “When you waste one naira, you are actually wasting millions of naira. The death of a seed is the death of a tree and the death of a tree is the death of a forest. This is because the power of compound interest makes it possible for a small amount to grow into a large sum of money.

WAY TO WEALTH
Quoting Benjamin Franklin, Osuoha says, “If you really desire it, the way to wealth is as plain as the way to the market. It depends chiefly on two words, Industry and Frugality, that is wastes neither time nor money but make the best use of both.”
He also cites George Clason’ book, The Richest Man in Babylon, Which says “The way to wealth is to realize and practice that a part of all you earn is yours to keep.”Anyone who sincerely wants to be wealthy is therefore advised to save at least 10 percent of all that he earns. He also quotes Alga mish, a wealthy man who observed that Wealth like a seed grows from a tiny seed. The first copper is the seed from which your tree of wealth shall grow. The sooner you plant the seed, the sooner the tree shall grow. The more faithfully you nourish and water that tree with constant savings the sooner you will bask in contentment beneath its shade.”
William beaver observed that: “Making money is learning a new way of thinking about money that people need”Summary of the timeless principles of wealth building by wealth creation experts as

# Start with the little money you already have
# Spend less money than you make
# put the difference to work making more money
# Protect your assets and your money making abilities.

Napoleon Hill says, “Knowledge paves the road to riches when you know which road to take.”Just like an ignorant farmer may experience losses or low harvest if he does not acquire the necessary knowledge, an ignorant person desiring to acquire wealth may not make it. That is the point William Beaver, Napoleon Hill and many other wealth creation experts always make.

STARTING OUT
Osuoha says “Just like a journey of a million miles begins with a step, we must begin with a step, we must not despise the days of small things.A year of 365 days is built up by seconds and accumulates into minutes then to an hour, days, weeks and months. Everything big starts with little beginning, so begin today no matter how small .the best time to begin is now.Procratination is dangerous. It is the grave where opportunities are buried.”

.......... culled from a Mentor.

ACCA Initial Registration .

ACCA
(the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is the global body for professional accountants. Through this system, online users can save the links to the web pages, which they want to remember to visit again, or the web pages that they want to share to other people. These books would usually be public. However, depending on the features of the service, they could be privately saved and shared only with specific groups or specific people, or shared only within certain networks or through a combination of privateness and publicness. These allowed people could usually view these saved bookmarks chronologically, or by tags or category, or via search engine, or randomly.Social bookmarking is generally public bookmarking. It accomplishes two things. The first one would be that your bookmarks would be accessible not just from a single computer, but basically from anywhere you could go online. Second, instead of keeping a long list of disorganized favorites and bookmarks in your browser, you would have a great database of your organized bookmarks to make it easier to find exactly what you need. Presently, there are may forms of technology, as well as special interest websites available which offer quick tutorials, reviews and overviews of the basics, along with the advance features of social bookmarking. It does have a lot of benefits and advantages over the traditional resource location, as well as classification software like search engine spiders. Among the more popular social bookmarking websites are Furl, Digg, del.icio.us, StumbleUpon, Reddit, Newsvine, Netvouz, Thoof and Sitebar.

OF ALL THE THINGS I AM (Poetry)

I'm an angel, I'm a devil
I am sometimes in between
I'm as bad as it can get
And good as it can be
Sometimes I'm a million colors
Sometimes I'm black and white
I am all extremes
Try to figure me out you never can
There's so many things I am

I am special
I am beautiful
I am wonderful
and powerfulUnstoppable
Sometimes I'm miserable
Sometimes I'm pitiful
But that's so typical of all the things I am

I'm someone filled with self-belief
I'm haunted by self-doubt
I've got all the answers
I've got nothing figured out
I like to be by myself
I hate to be alone
I'm up and I am down
But that's part of the thrill
Part of the plan
Part of all of the things I am

I am special
I am beautiful
I am wonderfuland powerful
UnstoppableSometimes I'm miserable
Sometimes I'm pitiful
But that's so typical of all the things I am

I'm a million contradictions
Sometimes I make no sense
Sometimes I'm perfect
Sometimes I'm a mess
SometimesI'm not sure who I am
But.................

I am special
I am beautiful
I am wonderful
And powerful
Unstoppable
Sometimes I'm miserable
Sometimes I'm pitiful
But that's so typical of all the things I am

I am special
I am beautiful
I am wonderful
and powerful
Unstoppable
Sometimes I'm miserable
Sometimes I'm pitiful
But that's so typical of all the things I am

Of all the things I am
Sometimes I'm miserable
Sometimes I'm pitiful
But that's so typical of all the things I am
Of all the things I am

ONLINE ADS HIT $50 BILLION BY 2011

With all the doom and gloom hovring over the economy right now, analyst reports heralding brighter days for the future of internet ad spend continue to be released.

According to the Yankee Group, the U.S online ad market will hit $50.3 billion in revenue by 2011 more than double 2007's revenue. The underlying reasons for this rosy picture rests on the disparity between current media usage and spending by marketers. The web claims roughly 20 percent of overall media consumptio in the U.S right now - but advertisers currebtly invest only 7.5percent of their budget online. The gap will start to be bridged by 2011,when Yankee predicts that online will comprise nearly 25percent of all media consumption and 15percent of the ad spend.

As a number of forecasts and recent ad spend tallies have noted, online advertising's growth remains healthy.
